Aquatic Project Supervisor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Aquatic Project Supervisor to oversee various water projects in the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling water-related challenges, leading teams, and collaborating with public sector clients.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise water projects from start to finish.
Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood hazard identification, and FEMA Risk MAP studies.
Direct drainage and watershed studies, including Area Drainage Master Studies/Plans (ADMS/ADMPS).
Guide the design of stormwater infrastructure, stream stabilization, and flood mitigation projects.
Mentor junior staff, review engineering calculations, and deliverables.
Engage with clients, attend project meetings, and assist with business development.
Develop scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and schedules.
Conduct quality assurance/quality control for models, floodplain mapping, and construction documents.
Use modeling tools like FLO-2D, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.
At least 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.
Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
Experience in mentoring staff and leading technical teams.
Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering top-notch service.
