• Create designs for mechanical equipment and tooling to meet customer requirements, considering safety, efficiency, and ease of use.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models of designs that adhere to industry standards.
• Coordinate the procurement of necessary components and materials for projects.
• Provide cost and lead time quotations for new tooling and equipment.
• Manage external design and build partners as needed.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Establish operating and safety guidelines for all equipment.
• Train users on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and materials
