SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER
Lead the way in power and control systems, equipment maintenance, operation optimization, troubleshooting and reliability targets at the Buffalo, NY manufacturing plant. Responsible for power distribution, compliance, safety, and technician skill development in electrical power and process control systems.
Location: Buffalo, NY manufacturing plant
Main troubleshooter for plant power and control systems and vital member of plant technical leadership
Develop and implement power and control standards for all projects and upgrades
Lead the execution of site masterplan for power and controls systems, including equipment replacement plan
Establish sustainable system for E&I technicians skill development
Ensure technician compliance with local and national codes
Validate MES data from PLCs and support plant Process Engineers in data analysis
Design and implement machine control and process automation applications
Identify and eliminate losses in safety, quality, reliability, and cost areas
Take ownership of key elements related to power and control systems
Collaborate with leadership on equipment selection and installation
Serve as project manager for various initiatives
Provide power and controls engineering support on capital projects
Utilize control, simulation, and process modeling technologies to analyze and improve operations
Compensation range: $85,500 - $123,200 annualized
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
2 years of controls or electrical engineering experience
Understanding of machine and/or process control hardware, instrumentation, and software
