Eco-Friendly Systems Designer
The Eco-Friendly Systems Designer will oversee the Eco-Friendly Management Program in adherence to all relevant regulations. Monitoring, evaluating, and proposing improvements to current eco-friendly practices to enhance company efficiency. They will offer guidance in implementing the overall eco-friendly management system.
· Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local Eco-Friendly laws, regulations, and permits.
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with Ohio EPA and Federal EPA.
· Gather and report internal Greenhouse Gas emissions data.
· Drive Greenhouse Gas reduction initiatives.
· Stay updated on changes in Eco-Friendly regulations from federal, state, and local bodies.
· Advise management on compliance updates and actions.
· Perform internal audits to monitor compliance efforts.
· Support on-site recycling programs and report progress to the parent company.
· Create and submit environmental reports, plans, and permit applications to regulatory agencies.
· Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Manage hazardous waste disposal activities.
· Lead and execute Carbon Neutrality projects, data collection, and Sustainability reporting.
· Design pollution and waste management strategies.
· Review and update SPCC plans as required.
· Conduct prompt investigations of environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
· Carry out field inspections.
· Coordinate HAZCOM/SDS program for facility materials.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field.
· In-depth understanding of air, water, and land permitting regulations.
· Experience with managing EHS systems, including ISO 14001.
