• EXPERIENCE LEVEL 2+ years of professional automation experience (Openings for Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior professionals)
• CORE LOGIC Demonstrated expertise in developing PLC and HMI programs from scratch using Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms (Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000)
• TRAVEL & ROAD BALANCE 25% to 50% domestic travel for on-site client commissions. Unique travel benefit: Weekend field assignments come with immediate comp days for extended weekends
• COMPENSATION $75,000 – $110,000 annual base range + significant holiday bonuses and profit-sharing payouts
• WORK TYPE Full-Time, Permanent, W-2 direct hire position (Collaborative engineering lab and assembly environment)
• LOCATION Greater Milwaukee / Washington County corridor (Must live within a comfortable 45-minute commute)

Your Responsibilities

• Developing PLC programs and HMI interfaces from scratch for custom automation machinery
• Creating operator interfaces and integrating high-level enterprise software
• Reviewing electrical schematics and ensuring safety compliance
• Configuring industrial networking protocols and safety systems
• Leading on-site customer startups and commissioning sequences

Qualifications We Seek

• 2+ years of experience in control system design and programming
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Stable work history with previous employers
• Willingness to travel and location proximity to Milwaukee area

Desirable Skills

• Experience with multi-axis servo motion systems or industrial vision platforms
• Proficiency in high-level coding languages or SQL
• Programming experience with industrial robotic arms
