Position: Bilingual Phlebotomist - Spanish Speaker
Location: Washington DC (Eastern Ave. NW)
Schedule: Mon-Fri – 7:00 A.M - 4:30 P.M,
8:00 – 5:00, 9:00 – 6:00 and
12:00 – 9:00 P.M (Shifts rotate)
Every other Saturday required -
8:00 – 5:00, 9:00 – 6:00 and
12:00 – 9:00 P.M (Shifts rotate)
Every other Saturday required -
Project duration: 3 months + potential for permanent role

Description:
Responsible for assisting with assigned tasks, training, and workflow management in the role of a phlebotomist.
Responsibilities:
Experience in blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data recording, patient information updates, and more. Follow established procedures for specimen collection and storage. Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously, as well as other specimen collections. Demonstrate various techniques using different types of needles. Thorough understanding of physician's orders. Match requisition forms with specimen tubes. Package specimens correctly for transport. Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations. Attend department trainings and handle inquiries over the phone.
Requirements: State-required Phlebotomy certification, minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience
