relations, pricing, profits, supply dynamics, and market shifts.

You will be tasked with enhancing sales and profitability within a

Key duties include:
Procuring and selling chemicals from the company’s product range
Cultivating new business with clients, distributors, vendors, and
other market players
Expanding existing accounts while identifying fresh lucrative commercial
opportunities
Cultivating and nurturing solid relations with clients and vendors
Preparing pricing, proposals, presentations, market updates, and
business correspondence
Monitoring market movements, rival actions, pricing trends, and
regional demands
Collaborating with sourcing, supply, sales coordination, marketing,
and management teams
Supervising sales volume, gross margin, pipeline activity, and account
performance
Supporting supplier/product qualification procedures as per company
policies
Rapidly and professionally addressing client concerns
Serving as the firm’s representative at industry conventions, meetings, and
networking events
Guaranteeing all business conduct adheres to relevant trade laws,
regulations, and company protocols

The ideal applicant will hold:
5-8+ years of prosperous experience in chemical sales, commodity
trading, distribution, or a similar commercial field
5-8+ years of involvement in the chemical sector
A background in selling to or collaborating with chemical distributors is highly
preferred
A sound grasp of chemicals, market intricacies, pricing,
supply, and downstream applications
Proven track record of creating new business and expanding profitable accounts
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Comfort in dealing with both clients and vendors
Proficient analytical abilities and clear communication of market data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mainstream business software
Bachelor’s degree required; Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or
MBA preferred
