Our client is a reputable CPA firm with a team of 12 individuals renowned for their long employee tenure and collaborative environment. They are in search of a Tax Staff Accountant with around 2-3 years of tax experience in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax returns for individuals (1040), partnerships (1065), S Corporations (1120S), and C Corporations (1120).

• Establish strong relationships with clients and offer expert advice.

• Assist with bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and financial reporting for various small business clients.

• Gain exposure to tax planning strategies across different industries.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of tax experience in public accounting.

• Proficiency in 1040 preparation is mandatory.

• Experience in preparing 1065, 1120, and 1120S tax returns.

• Preference for familiarity with QuickBooks and Lacerte.

• Knowledge of CCH Axcess is beneficial but not obligatory.

• CPA candidate or on the path to becoming a CPA is advantageous.
