Overview:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and additional documentation to formulate precise cost estimates.

<li Oversee the estimation and bidding procedures for civil projects.

<li Determine labor, materials, and time requirements through proposal and plan assessments.

<li Evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

<li Compile bid packages and deliver final estimates to senior management.

<li Participate in pre-bid conferences and on-site inspections as needed.

<li Suggest value engineering solutions.

<li Manage historical cost data and create estimating resources and tools.

Qualifications

<li Minimum of 3 years experience as an estimator in civil construction.

<li Proven expertise in take-offs and estimating various civil projects (excavation, site work, utilities, etc).

<li Familiarity with CIVIL estimating software is preferred (Agtek, Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, etc).

<li Strong communication and negotiation skills.

<li Keen attention to detail is crucial.
