Key Responsibilities

As the Quality Manager for Premium Products, you will be a key figure in maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS) supporting premium remelted products.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the Quality Management System for premium products
• Managing external quality certifications and adherence to regulations
• Conducting internal and external audits, implementing corrective measures, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives
• Approving certified test reports
• Promoting quality standards focused on customer needs throughout the organization
• Supervising and mentoring Quality Assurance staff
• Collaborating across departments with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to enhance quality systems and processes
• Acting as Management Representative for the Premium Products QMS to ensure compliance, efficiency, and integrity
• Presenting QMS performance metrics and recommendations to senior management
• Promoting a culture emphasizing safety, responsibility, and operational excellence
• Travelling as required, both domestically and internationally

Qualifications

We are looking for a quality professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Metallurgy, or related technical field
• At least 5 years of QA/QC leadership experience in metals manufacturing
• Experience with premium remelted products, particularly in VAR and/or ESR processes, is highly desirable
• Thorough knowledge of quality systems, audits, certifications, and corrective actions
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead teams and build strong interdepartmental relationships
• Dedicated work ethic with a focus on continuous improvement
• Willingness to travel when necessary
