Our client is in the process of updating its enterprise technology platform and is looking for a Developer to assist with that change.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled software engineer who enjoys creating applications and solving intricate data issues.

Being successful in this position requires proficiency in both C#/.NET development and SQL Server and enterprise data integration, each accounting for about half of the workload.

You will initially be involved in the company's enterprise ETL modernization project and will help develop modern .NET 8 microservices to support crucial business applications.

As the modernization effort advances, you will play a role in expanding the organization's microservices architecture and enterprise integration platform.

Responsibilities
● Create enterprise applications using C# and .NET 8
● Design and implement scalable REST APIs and microservices
● Develop advanced SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database elements
● Assist with enterprise ETL development and data integration projects
● Contribute to the transition from Informatica to SnapLogic
● Create integrations between enterprise systems, including Salesforce and other business platforms
● Utilize Kafka messaging and modern integration technologies
● Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and propose technical solutions
● Engage in design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance
● Contribute to an Agile development environment using GitHub, Jira, and modern CI/CD practices

Requirements:
● Solid professional background in developing enterprise software using C#/.NET
● Extensive experience with SQL Server development, including advanced T-SQL
● Proficiency in creating stored procedures, views, functions, and complex SQL queries
● Background in enterprise data integration or ETL solutions
● Experience building REST APIs and microservices
● Familiarity with Dapper
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work closely with business stakeholders
Preferred Experience
● .NET 8
● Kafka
● Familiarity with Kubernetes (deployment)
● Knowledge of SnapLogic, Informatica, or similar ETL platforms
● Familiarity with GitHub CI/CD
● Proficiency in Jira / Atlassian tools

● Background in retail, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or other high-volume transactional settings
