Tax Operations Lead

TAX MANAGER

Established, profitable regional CPA firm seeks a Tax Manager for their team. The role offers work-life balance, generous benefits, potential bonuses, and career growth. The Manager will oversee tax return preparation, make decisions on tax matters, and may work remotely from Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve tax returns, handle tax examinations, and oversee tax preparers.
  • Manage complex tax matters, advise clients, and ensure timely assignment completion.
  • Delegate tax research projects, supervise tax staff, and provide training.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Develop and train Tax Department staff, participate in reviews and evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' public accounting experience, expertise in tax preparation and supervision.
  • Bachelor’s in accounting, CPA license required, Master’s in taxation preferred.
