LOCATION: Reston, VA. This hybrid role (1x per week or less in the office) is available to individuals residing within a 60-mile radius.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exercise strong hands-on skills to lead a team and take charge of critical systems, optimizing and securing the company’s IAM solutions.
  • Create SailPoint integrations, both customized and off-the-shelf.
  • Play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Ping Identity, shaping MFA strategies, and leading SailPoint IGA projects.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation using collaboration tools like Confluence Wiki for system configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
  • Supervise Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployments to ensure secure and compliant systems adhering to frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead technical teams, and effectively communicate IAM strategies throughout the organization.

IDEAL PROFILE

  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with practical knowledge of SailPoint and other IAM technologies.
  • Demonstrated HANDS ON expertise in developing SailPoint integrations, both customized and off-the-shelf, is essential.
  • Ability to develop integrations with Identity Providers (IdPs) using protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms such as SSO, MFA, PAM, across on-premises, distributed, and SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Prior experience in core Java development.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, capable of effectively communicating with individuals at all levels within the organization.
CERTIFICATIONS (are a plus):
  • CIAM
  • CISSP
  • Vendor-specific IAM certifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
WORK AUTHORIZATION: Preferably a US Citizen/Green Card holder. Consideration may be given to individuals eligible for local H-1B transfer.
