Overview:

This Akron-based company specializes in manufacturing polymer additives and is currently undergoing significant expansion and investment in advanced controls. The Chemical Project Engineer will play a crucial role in various aspects of plant engineering, including project management, production support, process optimization, plant control enhancements, data analysis, and SOP updates. With both domestic and overseas production sites, the company offers exceptional medical coverage, a 401k program, and a generous company bonus. Relocation assistance will be provided based on individual needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in plant support and process optimization within the chemicals, plastics, rubber, food, pharmaceuticals, paint/coating industries.
  • Additional qualifications that would be considered a plus include experience with project work, PLC or DCS controls, instrumentation troubleshooting, extrusion, and drying.
