Nursing Education Facilitator


  • Works collaboratively with other educators in preparing, implementing, and evaluating assessments for the course. Contributes to the development of final assessments for the course.
  • Ensures class attendance and maintains accurate and timely submission of grades.
  • Aids in strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to uphold program quality.
  • Develops and executes orientation programs for new instructors covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the courses.
  • Applies teaching methods that cater to the unique learning characteristics of adult students.
  • Pursues continuous improvement of instructional quality.
  • Demonstrates proficiency or willingness to learn techniques for integrating online activities into course materials to enhance interactive teaching and learning.
  • Maintains student records, including attendance sheets and skill check-off forms, and supports program data collection efforts.
  • Submits necessary program reports and forms to the Program Director within specified timelines.
  • Stays updated on new technologies and safety regulations relevant to the field.
  • Participates in committee assignments that align with the mission and objectives of the nursing program.
  • Attends faculty meetings regularly.
  • Plans and supervises students’ clinical experiences at designated healthcare facilities.
  • Evaluates students’ performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes as per the Department of Nursing’s policies and procedures.
  • Provides immediate feedback on clinical performance or specific events after observing students.
  • Assists in maintaining student records, including clinical attendance sheets and skill check-off forms, and supports program data collection efforts.
  • Ensures that clinical assignments meet the needs of both students and healthcare facilities.
  • Determines the best approach to observe, instruct, and evaluate students.
  • Determines if clinical facilities meet the required health and safety standards for college students to participate in clinical activities.
  • Facilitates ongoing communication with students through scheduled office hours, electronic means, and other appropriate methods.
  • Participates in student advising activities.


Must possess a BSN degree and have at least 3 years of experience as a bedside RN in the relevant field. An MSN degree is preferred.
