This organization is one of the oldest, most established general contractors in the middle-Tennessee region with a wide variety of clients and project types. Their portfolio ranges from public works, retail, restaurant, corporate office, educational, to mixed-use multifamily. They are located in the S.Nashville/Franklin TN area and have an excellent local reputation with a loyal client base.

They are currently hiring a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial projects (as a Project Manager) and expertise in ground up construction.

Position Overview:

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all assigned projects from start to finish, handling all aspects of the process. This includes budgeting, estimating and pricing, effective communication with clients and subcontractors, conflict resolution, contract writing, supervision of field operations and safety in collaboration with the Superintendent. Additionally, building and maintaining relationships with clients, staff, subcontractors, and city/county entities is a primary goal. This position will be based in Franklin, TN, but may require travel and temporary relocation as necessary. Remote work options are available to support work-life balance. Qualifications and Background Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Familiarity and/or experience in commercial construction, including new/ground-up, historic renovation, multifamily, and hospitality projects.
  • Proficiency in interpreting building plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Timberline, or similar programs.
  • Strong teamwork skills with field supervision, project management, and administrative staff. Excellent communication skills from executive to field personnel.
  • Experience with safety standards and management.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to set goals and prioritize tasks.
