Your Next Chapter Begins:

As a Senior Study Director in the CGT department, you will play a vital role in advancing the science that ensures our safety. Your expertise will guide crucial toxicology studies from start to finish, maintaining excellence and integrity throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and plan toxicology studies, including the selection of suitable study models and endpoints.
  • Create study protocols, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project teams.
  • Oversee study progress, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and interpret study data, drawing meaningful conclusions, providing recommendations, and preparing comprehensive toxicology reports for clients and regulatory submissions.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for clients, understanding their needs, offering advice, and addressing their inquiries and concerns related to toxicology.
  • Support regulatory submissions and interactions as required.
  • Lead a team of research scientists, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including in vivo scientists, QC/QA personnel, Account Managers/Sales, and the veterinary staff.

Your Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
  • Board certification in toxicology (e.g., DABT).
  • Minimum of 8 years of toxicology experience, with a strong track record in designing and overseeing toxicology studies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leadership and team management.
  • Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and non-GLP toxicology studies.
  • Prior experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in cell and gene therapy programs.
