Firmware Developer

We are currently seeking a Firmware Developer to join our software development team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop key software systems.   • Assist in the development and deployment of embedded aircraft and ground software systems
  • Define software requirements and create a robust software design, including safety-critical and mission-critical functionality
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to design efficient and testable software solutions
  • Transform requirements and designs into code
  • Create safety and mission-critical software systems using SCADE and other model-based tools
  • Implement the principles of DO-178C for the development of robust and safe software, with the use of Agile methodologies where applicable
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and innovative mindset


  • US Citizenship and eligibility for a US Secret Clearance
  • Professional experience in aerospace or high-assurance software development, specifically for safety and/or mission critical systems
  • Knowledge of all stages of software development, including requirements, design, coding, and testing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a diverse team


  • Bachelors or Masters in software engineering or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ALM and requirements management tools (Polarion, IBM DOORS, etc)
  • Proficiency in Agile tools (Confluence, Jira, etc)
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Development, including SysML (Cameo, SCADE Architect, etc)
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, particularly C and Python
  • Familiarity with SCADE Tool Suite (SCADE Suite, SCADE Display)
  • Experience with CI/CD and version control systems (Git, Gitlab, LDRA)
  • Previous experience developing software for aerospace or automotive industries according to standards such as DO-178B/C, MIL-HDBK-516C, and ISO 26262
