Reports To: Engineering Lead

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a highly technical research and development, engineering, or manufacturing environments, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing technical projects, including but not limited to schedules, budgets, and other resources
  • Proven ability to unite a diverse team towards a common objective
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent
  • Experience working closely with various disciplines such as electronics, mechanical, software, and management

Key Results:

  • Establishes program requirements, budgets, and deliverables by collaborating with customers and Program Managers
  • Generates product specifications that meet or exceed customer requirements alongside the Program Manager
  • Ensures seamless and effective integration of internal subsystems and customer systems
  • Manages programs to meet budget and timeline goals with the Program Manager
  • Maintains 100% compliance with quality standards

Responsibilities may include:

  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors the technical performance of Company programs
  • Assists in translating customer requirements into specifications
  • Coordinates project designs, prototype builds and testing, third party environmental testing, final acceptance validation, and project documentation
  • Ensures adherence to program objectives
  • Resolves any internal and external ambiguities during the design and development process
  • Identifies and resolves program issues
  • Takes ownership of the engineering processes and acts as the primary quality liaison
  • Completes other assigned activities as needed
