Lead Systems Engineer

Sr. Systems Engineer

Tasks include but are not limited to:

– Gather requirements from customers and company stakeholders (IRAD) requirements/requests

– Develop flow down requirements for subassemblies, vendors, or other disciplines

– Provide technical guidance and support to other team members

– Create and maintain system-level block diagrams, ATPs, interface documents, and reports

– Execute system integration and test activities in the lab, including configuring test setups and using electrical test equipment

– Perform system level ATPs in the lab, at external test houses, and/or at customer sites

– Collaborate with senior systems engineers and engineering managers to ensure system design aligns with architecture

– Support and attend technical reviews throughout the development process

– Clearly communicate issues and potential solutions to internal and external stakeholders


– Must be a US Citizen

– 5-10 years of experience preferred in a highly technical R&D, engineering, or manufacturing environment

– Demonstrated competence in engineering application development and analysis (electrical, mechanical, hardware, firmware, software, etc.)

– Experience working in a lab setting with electrical test equipment

– 3-5 years of experience leading technical projects

– Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet customer requirements and company goals

– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Project)

– Experience with model-based systems engineering is a plus

– Experience working with multiple disciplines such as electronics, mechanical, software, and management

– Experience with imaging processing, power management, aerospace, defense, or medical products

– Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or technical equivalent (electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or applied mathematics)
