Sales Manager

Our expanding Medical client is hiring over 80 Account Managers in different parts of America!
As an AM you will serve as the representative of the company with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your area, as well as the families being discharged from these facilities in order to enhance our business. Your main responsibility will be to generate leads and facilitate the transition of families to our care communities. Your passion and determination will drive your efforts in establishing relationships with healthcare professionals and finding effective strategies to grow each account, thereby assisting more families in finding the care they require.
Responsibilities

  • Operate in a fast-paced, evolving industry to assist families who urgently need care in finding the suitable community or in-home care agency as they move out of hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve your quota by generating daily qualified patient referrals from the accounts in your assigned market plan
  • Create, develop, and expand your portfolio of accounts to increase the number of referrals in your area
  • Build new contacts within each account through networking, cold calls, and service presentations, and follow up with each referral source to reinforce the value we provide
  • Educate families on their care options and explain how you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor will help them find the ideal senior living option upon discharge
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to achieve your quota of families transitioning to a care community or employing in-home care
  • Implement and provide feedback on new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) in your area to enhance the available tools and resources

Qualifications

  • Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have three or more years of experience in outside sales as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of surpassing sales quotas and effectively collaborating with other teams to achieve this
  • Possess the ability to present to target customers and effectively handle objections
  • Thrive in an independent, fast-paced, and change-oriented environment, and be willing to take on tasks and test new processes
  • Demonstrate a strong competitive spirit and a desire to learn and improve
  • Be available to travel locally in your area for five days a week
  • Have strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess effective time management skills
  • Prior experience in healthcare/hospital sales is highly desirable
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (preferably Salesforce)

Schedule

  • In the field each day, working with your Regional Director to develop your account plan on a weekly basis and nurture your accounts for growth and success in meeting your monthly targets
  • Includes scheduled presentations, calls, and impromptu visits to meet case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and discharged patients
