Facility Manager


Our company is a comprehensive, primary supplier to Honda, specializing in the creation and production of illumination equipment, accessories, and digital components. Our facility in Ohio contains design and manufacturing areas for lighting and molds, as well as dedicated personnel in Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service. Providing leadership to the Engineering, CMMS/AS department, ensuring the department’s full functionality by:

  • Supporting employees in their daily activities.
  • Leading through performance planning, continual feedback, and recognition initiatives to ensure clear expectations and departmental targets are met.
  • Overseeing and maintaining the Maximo system to meet facility and equipment maintenance documentation requirements.
  • Creating and monitoring the annual Capital and R/M budget and business plans to align department goals with company objectives.
  • Managing projects and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Supervising and maintaining the wireless/landline phone system, accounts, and communication contracts to meet company needs.
  • Managing and maintaining the Security/Production camera system.
  • Ensuring compliance with work standards and uniform business practices for employees and contractors to safeguard the company’s liability.

· Representing the company positively in the community.

· Ensuring completion of company and facility engineering requirements to maintain full operational functionality.

· Developing and implementing utility savings programs to promote cost savings.

  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing new methods and processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in facilities engineering.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, regulations, laws, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale facility projects.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.


  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

· General Office Environment: 6 hours per day.

· Manufacturing Environment: 1.5 hours per day.

· Offsite Environment: 0.5 hour per day.

· Occasional overnight travel may be required for remote work or training.

· May be required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.


  • Frequent exposure to moving or mechanical parts.
  • Moderate noise levels with required hearing protection in specific areas.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals and heavy machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
