Account Manager

Our expanding Healthcare organization is seeking multiple Account Managers nationwide!
As an Account Manager, you will represent our company to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your assigned area, as well as the families who are discharged from these facilities. Your primary responsibility is to generate leads and facilitate move-ins to our communities from your existing accounts. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, eager to establish rapport with healthcare professionals, and persistent in finding the most effective strategies to grow each account and assist more families in finding the care they require.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate within a rapidly growing industry to help families in urgent need find suitable senior care options, either in a community or through an in-home care agency, as they transition from hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve your monthly target by generating qualified patient referrals from your assigned market plan accounts
  • Develop, manage, and expand your portfolio of accounts to increase the number of referrals in your area
  • Earn the trust of new contacts within each account by networking, making cold calls, and delivering service presentations; follow up with referral sources to strengthen the value proposition of our company
  • Educate families on their care options and guide them in collaborating with a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to find the most suitable senior living alternatives upon discharge
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your target of families moving into a community or receiving in-home care
  • Implement and evaluate new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) in your area and provide feedback to enhance the tools and resources available to you

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree
  • Three or more years of experience in individual-contributor outside sales
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales quotas by working in collaboration with other teams
  • Demonstrated success in delivering persuasive presentations to target customers and overcoming objections
  • Ability to excel in an independent, fast-paced, change-driven environment; willingness to take initiative, experiment with new processes, and complete tasks
  • Drive for continuous learning and improvement, with a strong competitive mindset
  • Availability for local travel within your assigned area (five days per week)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong time management abilities
  • Prior experience in healthcare or hospital sales is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)

  • Schedule:
  • As an Account Manager, you will be in the field daily, working closely with your Regional Director to develop your account plan each week in order to nurture and expand your accounts, and achieve your monthly targets
  • Your fieldwork will involve scheduled presentations at accounts, making calls, and conducting impromptu visits to meet with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and discharged patients
