PROJECT MANAGER – Superintendent
New Custom-Home Construction

LOCATION: Monroe / Charlotte NC !

Salary Range: $80,000-95,000 DOE; Home Bonus; Auto/Phone allowance; plus additional benefits (PTO, Healthcare Insurance, 401(k); etc)

An established Home Builder in the region with a small-company vibe but substantial support staff available to assist employees at the local level.

They operate in 50 offices spread across 11 states and collaborate directly with local clients to construct personalized homes in the affordable to semi-custom segment.

Total annual volume exceeding $550M and privately owned since 1972 – this organization is well-organized and presents a stable, growing opportunity in the Mid-Tn area for the foreseeable future.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistent and clear communication with customers to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
  • Overseeing construction sites from the precon process, procurement, subcontractor selection & contracts to safety and scheduling until completion.
  • Negotiating with contractors/vendors, as well as developing and managing job sites.
  • Maintaining budgets and overseeing job costs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in residential construction (preferably in On-Your-Lot or scattered lot building).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects (usually 8-10) simultaneously, with average home prices ranging up to $525,000-625,000 (average).
  • A proven track record of at least 4 years in successful operations & project leadership within New Construction.
  • Strong team-building skills and excellent communication abilities with customers/owners.
