Adult Medicine Clinical Director

As the Clinical Director of Adult Medicine at our Hartford, CT location, you will have a crucial role in improving our clinical operations, optimizing provider workflow, enhancing patient satisfaction, and ensuring financial success. Alongside providing direct clinical care, you will also be responsible for administrative supervision.

To be considered for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and hold board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. In addition, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

– A dedication to delivering high-quality patient care in an efficient manner

– Comfort and familiarity with catering to underserved populations with complex needs

– Relevant experience in a business setting, preferably in large health center organizations or private practices as a Director or Associate Director

– Proficiency in recruiting, onboarding, retaining, and disciplining clinical providers and staff

– Knowledge of compliance issues within your specific clinical expertise

– Experience supervising advanced practitioners, such as APRNs and PAs

– Demonstrated ability to contribute to and develop strategic goals for the department

– A focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration

– Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners

– Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for evidence-based decision-making

– Experience contributing to enterprise-level projects

– Familiarity with electronic health record systems

– Initiative, judgment, and discretion in achieving organizational objectives

– A problem-solving mindset and accountability

– Alignment with the organizational mission and demonstration of Core Values and Permission to Play Values

– Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements, unless a reasonable accommodation is needed based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief
