Become a Fueling Electrical Engineer and contribute significantly to the transformation of aircraft and federal fueling infrastructure!

Here’s what lies ahead:

  • Lead the electrical drive: Collaborate with the team to devise and implement electrical components for projects that range from small fuel stations to vast fuel facilities containing millions of gallons of fuel.
  • Master the power network: Develop AC power systems, single-line diagrams, motor schematics, and electrical blueprints to ensure the seamless distribution of power.
  • Select the optimal equipment: Determine the requirement for electrical equipment such as transformers, generators, and distribution centers by working closely with clients and vendors.
  • Expand beyond electricity: Design auxiliary systems for the facility, which include security, access control, and lighting, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Unleash the potential of data: Conduct thorough analysis of the electrical systems, including load flow, short circuit, and arc-flash assessments.
  • Dive into instrumentation & controls: Coordinate efforts with the mechanical team specializing in fuel, develop control strategies, and design instrument systems.
  • Be a team player and guide: Mentor colleagues, contribute to proposal development, and support initiatives for business growth.

To join our exceptional team, it is necessary to have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and passing of the FE exam.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in fueling, oil & gas, water/wastewater, or industrial systems (prior experience in aviation & federal fueling is desirable).
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in software: Master MS Office and be adept with engineering software tools.
  • An unwavering commitment to clients: Assist clients in planning enhancements, defining project scope, and managing budgets.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Effectively express ideas and concepts in written and verbal form.
  • Keen analytical abilities: Solve intricate problems with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A strong foundation in collaboration: Display teamwork, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to travel: Be prepared for occasional business trips.

Additional qualifications that earn you extra points:

  • Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Revit.
  • Knowledge of federal design guides and specifications.
  • Expertise in industrial standards like NEC, NFPA, API, PIP, and IEEE.
  • Understanding of fuel process equipment and experience with EPC projects.
