Job Title: Personnel Manager

Location: Cannon Falls, MN

Salary: $120-140K

Job Summary: The Personnel Manager will provide strategic support and guidance as a human resources partner, aligning HR objectives with business goals. The role includes focusing on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and collaborating with business leaders across multiple facilities to enhance organizational performance.


  • Advise and guide business leaders on organizational and personnel matters.
  • Ensure consistent communication of HR policies throughout the organization.
  • Oversee employee communications regarding changes, benefits, compensation, and policies.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage benefits and compensation programs.
  • Conduct employee relations and compliance investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and labor laws.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and create a positive work environment.
  • Conduct employee feedback sessions.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts and partner with HRBPs and hiring managers.
  • Support talent development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess organizational needs.
  • Align HR initiatives with key business objectives.
  • Implement HR plans and programs.
  • Use HR metrics and analytics to evaluate effectiveness of HR programs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with 5 years in a leadership role within HR.
  • Preferred experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or HR Generalist for at least 3 years.
  • HR experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Master’s degree and professional certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
