HR Leader

Applicant must possess a 4-year college degree. Applicant must have previous experience in the manufacturing industry.

The HR Leader (Human Resources Leader) is accountable for all HR activities in several manufacturing sites located in Cleveland, Ohio, both union and non-union. This versatile position will assist in fulfilling the business requirements and the execution of company strategy and objectives. The role helps promote engagement and supports/develops initiatives for employees to foster a high-performance culture. Requires experience in unions and extensive knowledge of collective bargaining and grievance procedures.

  • Capable of resolving various employee relations matters, performing investigations, and implementing disciplinary measures.
  • In charge of enforcing company policies, procedures, and union work regulations.
  • Adept at collaborating with senior-level site management to accomplish corporate objectives.
  • Establishes strategies, priorities, and job descriptions to attract and retain top talent within the organization. Assists management during the recruitment and selection process of new employees.
  • Collaborates with the Legal Department to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in both union and non-union environments.
  • Familiarity with labor and employment laws.
  • Proficient in collective bargaining and grievance processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience.
  • Prior experience in a unionized manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining and grievance processes.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
