Sr. Process Executor

Location: Topeka, KS

Work Schedule: Full-time on-site position, Monday to Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.


  • Improve safety, quality, and productivity in the Department area by eliminating defects, executing cost-saving initiatives, and enhancing operating teams’ capabilities.

  • Serve as the main point of contact and leader between the engineering and operations teams during the Commissioning, Qualification, and Verification (CQV) process for new projects, ensuring seamless transition and full involvement.

  • Maintain a high-performance work culture by engaging with team members, coaching problem-solving skills, decision-making, and promoting self-reliance.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process, mechanics, instrumentation, and product specifications for the designated line/area, and provide technical support to the line/area teams.

  • Guide operating teams and leadership in root cause identification and elimination of losses.

  • Implement and coach company Continuous Improvement methodologies to address gaps in line/area performance, fostering a zero-loss culture.

  • Take ownership of a safety and/or quality aspect.

  • Participate in training and qualification programs for the designated line/area, ensuring effective training and maintaining consistent qualification standards.

  • Ensure data reliability in our Proficy plant applications software for the designated line/area and develop improved methods for collecting accurate data.

  • Prioritize and organize initiatives to align with the department master plan and the long-term vision of the plant.

  • Keep the organization up-to-date with relevant new technologies and ingredients.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing/engineering

  • Proven ability to quickly learn technical processes and systems

  • Demonstrated use of formal problem-solving methodologies

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry

  • Strong project management skills and technical problem-solving capability
