Sales Rep

Our expanding Healthcare organization is hiring multiple Sales Representatives across various locations in the United States!
As a Sales Rep, you will be the representative of our company to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your assigned area, as well as the families who are being discharged from these facilities. Your primary responsibility is to generate leads and facilitate the transition of families to our communities. We are looking for individuals who are eager to build relationships with healthcare professionals, and who are determined to find the best strategies for growing each account in order to assist more families in finding the care they require.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate within a rapidly growing industry, helping families in urgent need of care locate suitable senior living communities or in-home care agencies as they transition from hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve the monthly target quota by generating qualified patient referrals on a daily basis from your assigned market plan accounts
  • Develop and expand your portfolio of accounts to increase the number of referrals in your territory
  • Establish new contacts within each account through networking, cold calling, and service presentations. Follow up with each referral source to reinforce the value we provide and track the outcomes of discharges
  • Educate families about their care options and inform them about how you and our Healthcare Senior Living Advisors will work together to find the most suitable senior living option
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet the target quota for families moving into our communities or hiring in-home care services
  • Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g. account scoring, CRM changes) in your territory and provide feedback to enhance the tools and resources at your disposal

Qualifications:

  • Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have at least three years of experience in outside sales as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrate a track record of surpassing sales quotas and collaborating effectively with other teams to achieve these goals
  • Possess proven experience in presenting to target customers and adeptly handling objections
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess the initiative to test new processes and successfully adapt to change
  • Display a strong drive to learn and improve, with a competitive mindset
  • Be willing to travel locally within your assigned territory (5 days a week)
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Prior healthcare/hospital sales experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)

Additional Information

Schedule:

  • You will be in the field on a daily basis, working together with your Regional Director to develop your account plan each week, nurturing and expanding your accounts in order to achieve your monthly targets
  • Field work will consist of scheduled presentations at accounts, as well as calls and impromptu visits to meet with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and discharged patients
