The Mechanical Process Engineer role in Willoughby, OH requires a candidate who can provide engineering leadership and strive for continuous improvement in various areas such as reliability, safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost. This will be achieved by thoroughly analyzing plant data and collaborating with Operations and Maintenance personnel, as well as internal and external resources. The position will actively support activities related to visual workplace, problem-solving skill development, waste reduction, and workforce engagement. Moreover, the Engineer will work towards eliminating at-risk conditions and behaviors to enhance environmental, health, and safety performance.

  • Establish and uphold production procedures, maintenance procedures, process/product control, and test data.
  • Involve in the development of new products and processes.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts on the production line to reduce product lead time.
  • Conduct audits on plant activities to ensure compliance while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Engage with vendors for project implementation and proposals.
  • Lead and contribute to the long-term sustainability of 5S.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and other support organizations to facilitate problem solving and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze process and production data to identify trends and maintain process stability.
  • Ensure product quality through analysis of incoming raw materials, process reliability, in-process testing, and final product certification.
  • Work with the organization to drive business success through reliable processes, equipment, and teamwork.
  • Enhance variable cost productivity by implementing process improvements.
  • Develop trial plans and oversee their monitoring and execution.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in mechanical reliability, quality, and safety.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Decisive and hands-on mentality.
  • Energetic self-starter with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and technical expertise.
