Sales Representative

Our expanding Medical client is seeking multiple Sales Representatives throughout the United States!
As a representative, you will act as the company’s ambassador to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your area, as well as to families who are being discharged from these facilities as our business grows. Your main responsibility is to generate leads and facilitate move-ins to communities from your roster of accounts. You must be driven, enthusiastic about building relationships with healthcare professionals, and persistent in finding the most effective strategies to expand each account and assist more families in finding the care they need.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate in a fast-paced, expanding industry to help families in urgent need of care locate the appropriate community or in-home care agency as they transition out of hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve your monthly target quota by generating qualified patient referrals on a daily basis from your assigned market plan accounts
  • Develop, manage, and expand your roster of accounts in order to increase the number of referrals in your area
  • Build new connections within each account through networking, cold calls, and service presentations, and follow up with each referral source to reinforce the value that the company provides
  • Educate families on their care options and explain how they will work with you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to locate the appropriate senior living option upon discharge
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to achieve your target quota of families moving into a community or hiring in-home care services
  • Conduct trials of new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) in your area and provide feedback to enhance the tools and resources available to you

Qualifications

  • Preferably possess a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have at least three years of experience in outside sales as an individual contributor
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales quotas and working collaboratively with other teams to achieve this
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive presentations to target customers and overcome objections
  • Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, independent environment, and be willing to take on various tasks, test new processes, and complete assignments
  • Show a strong drive to learn and improve, coupled with a competitive approach
  • Ability to travel within your area on a daily basis (five days a week)
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, across all levels
  • Effective time management skills
  • Prior experience in healthcare or hospital sales is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (preferably Salesforce)

Additional Information

Schedule

  • You will be out in the field every day, collaborating with your Regional Director to develop your weekly account plan and build, nurture, and expand your accounts in order to meet your monthly goals
  • Fieldwork will involve scheduled presentations at accounts, calls, and spontaneous visits to meet with case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and discharged patients
