Process Engineer

Must possess a 4-year college degree.

The Process Engineer will demonstrate leadership and engineering expertise in order to drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost. This will be achieved through analyzing plant data and collaborating with Operations and Maintenance personnel, as well as internal and external resources. In addition, the Process Engineer will actively participate in continuous improvement and transformational activities, such as visual workplace support, problem-solving skills development, defect/waste reduction, and enhanced workforce engagement. The goal is to eliminate hazardous conditions and behaviors in order to continuously enhance the team’s environmental, health, and safety performance.

  • Establish and maintain production procedures, maintenance procedures, process/product control, and test data.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and processes.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts to reduce product lead time on the production line.
  • Audit plant activities to ensure compliance and maintain proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors for project implementation and proposals.
  • Lead and support the development and sustainability of 5S.
  • Facilitate problem-solving activities (root cause analysis) in collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and other support organizations.
  • Collect and analyze process and production data to identify trends and ensure process stability.
  • Ensure product quality through analysis of incoming raw materials, process reliability, in-process testing, and final product certification.
  • Partner with the organization to drive business success through process and equipment reliability and teamwork.
  • Enhance variable cost productivity through process improvements.
  • Develop trial plans and monitor/execute trials.
  • Minimize customer complaints through thorough root cause and corrective action analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills in Capital Project Management.
  • Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Decisive and hands-on approach.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and technical expertise.
