PROJECT | PRODUCTION MANAGER – Residential New Custom Construction

Location: Rocky Mount NC

A Regional single-family Home Builder with a small-company feel but comprehensive company support staff in place to assist with all employee duties at the local level. They operate in 50 offices across 11 states and collaborate directly with local clients to construct customized homes in the affordable to semi-custom niche. With a National volume of $500M+ and privately owned since 1972 – this company is well-organized and can provide long-term stability and security within the homebuilding industry!

The Overview:

  • This Construction Manager will oversee multiple projects and handle all customer service aspects and sub/client relationships
  • Manage construction operations from sub-selection & contracts to safety and scheduling until project completion.
  • Negotiate with contractors and vendors, and oversee job site development and production.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients/homeowners and all office staff to ensure excellent project delivery and customer satisfaction!

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have experience in residential new construction (On Your Lot) projects and managing multiple projects in the OYL / scattered lot building.
  • Must have experience managing multiple projects (typically 8 or more) simultaneously, with average home prices around $525k (total construction costs)
  • A proven track record of at least 8 years in successful residential operations & project leadership, specifically in New Custom Construction.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a track record of effectively managing construction operations.
  • Candidates must possess excellent team-building skills and outstanding communication abilities with customers/owners.
