As an automation engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of automation engineering, from concept to production.

Job Overview

  • Lead projects in a cross-functional environment, using your expertise to plan and schedule
  • Improve existing products and processes, while also expanding the product line
  • Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Develop PLC, HMI, and motion controls from scratch
  • Design new electrical systems for standard and custom equipment
  • Create software for robotic systems
  • Supervise project panel builds and, if necessary, build electrical panels from scratch
  • Implement vision systems for tasks such as angle detection, orientation detection, and feature detection
  • Travel occasionally for startups, installations, and to resolve field issues


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in automation and controls engineering
  • Desire to contribute to a team-oriented setting and positive company culture
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley controls programming
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
