Tox Sales Rep

Required qualifications:
Applicants must possess recent experience in the sales of toxicology testing.
Responsibilities of the Tox Sales Representative include identifying new opportunities to increase sales of products, resolving customer complaints, and skillfully negotiating sales terms with customers to close deals. An adequate understanding of the latest clinical data provided by the company is also necessary. To excel in this role, the Tox Sales Representative must stay up-to-date with developments in medical legislation to gauge their impact on sales. The ability to consistently meet or surpass sales targets requires strong negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills.
  • Scheduling meetings with new and existing customers.
  • Introducing company products to potential and current customers.
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending the most suitable company products.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional after-sales service.
  • Attending industry events, trainings, meetings, briefings, and workshops.
  • Researching competitor products, pricing, and market performance.
  • Preparing sales reports, territory analyses, and submitting them to management.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Proven experience in medical sales within the diagnostic/laboratory field with a specific emphasis on toxicology testing.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and legislation.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
