Tox Sales Rep

Current experience selling toxicology testing is a requirement for the position of Tox Sales Rep. in Columbus, OH.
The responsibilities of the Tox Sales Rep. include identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, addressing and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of sale with customers in order to close deals. The successful candidate should have the ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest clinical data provided by the company.

To succeed as a Tox Sales Rep., it is essential to stay updated on the latest developments in medical legislation to determine their potential impact on company sales. The Territory Sales Representative should exhibit exceptional negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills to consistently meet or surpass sales targets.


  • Arranging meetings with prospective and existing clients.
  • Presenting company products to both potential and existing clients.
  • Identifying clients’ requirements and suggesting company products that most effectively meet those needs.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing excellent post-sales service.
  • Attending industry events, training sessions, company meetings, briefings, and educational workshops.
  • Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and market success.
  • Preparing sales reports, territory analyses, and submitting them to management.


  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proven experience in medical sales within the diagnostic/laboratory field.
    • Current experience selling toxicology testing
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding organizational and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
