Tox Sales Rep

Experience in selling toxicology testing
The responsibilities of the Tox Sales Rep include identifying new opportunities to increase sales of toxicology testing, investigating and resolving customer issues, and negotiating sales terms to close deals. You should also stay updated on the latest clinical data provided by the company to have an in-depth understanding.

To be successful in this role, you need to stay informed about medical legislation changes that might impact sales. The Tox Sales Rep should possess strong negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling meetings with potential and existing customers.
  • Showcasing company products to potential and existing customers.
  • Evaluating customers’ needs and recommending appropriate company products.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
  • Attending industry events, training, meetings, briefings, and workshops.
  • Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and market performance.
  • Preparing and submitting sales reports, territory analyses, and other documents to management.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proven experience in selling diagnostic/laboratory products.
  • Current experience selling toxicology testing.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
