Job Title: Technical Field Agent

Location: Concord, NH

Salary: $65,000-75,000 per annum plus bonus

Job Summary: We are seeking a self-directed Technical Field Agent who excels in customer interactions, can create technical reports, and collaborates with the Engineering team to provide recommendations for product improvement in the Product Development Group. The Technical Field Agent is responsible for independently assembling, commissioning, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting systems both domestically and internationally.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Field Service position with decision-making authority
  • Possession of an Electronics or Electrical certificate or degree
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time (both domestically and internationally)
  • Ability to generate trip reports, return material authorizations, test reports, and corrective action reports
  • Strong preference for knowledge of PLCs
  • Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and troubleshooting systems using electrical schematics
  • Proficient in Windows environment and skilled in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Clean driving record
  • Fearlessness in working at heights

· Prior experience with PLCs, VFDs, data acquisition, wiring, power equipment, and industrial electricity is required. Siemens, ABB, and TMEiC platform(s) experience is highly preferred.

· Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid passport for international travel


· Frequently interact with customers, end-users, vendors, and contractors.

· Assist in arranging and coordinating the presence of relevant parties at the site for equipment installation inspections, start-up, and commissioning activities.

· Coordinate internally to ensure prompt response to customer inquiries.

· Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs, and other automated equipment.

· Repair equipment installed at customer facilities, encompassing both warranty and non-warranty claims.

· Conduct routine inspections of existing system installations.

· Ensure the accurate implementation of pre-commissioning activities in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation disciplines, guaranteeing the work and report quality.

· Travel to customer sites for final commissioning and equipment demonstration in accordance with specifications to obtain customer approval.

· Support the project team in clearing and signing-off on all mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation punch list items as per project requirements.

· Participate in project and construction meetings as necessary.

· Provide technical training to end-users and maintenance personnel, as required.

· Act as an onsite trouble-shooter, analyzing and resolving technical issues, and providing support for subsequent technical queries.

· Independently coordinate all site visit details with customers and/or end-users prior to departure.

· Independently handle all travel arrangements (flight, accommodation, ground transportation, etc.).

· Offer direct technical support to customers, contractors, sales, and engineering for testing and field service activities.
