Onsite Corporate Recruiter

The Onsite Corporate Recruiter will manage the recruitment needs of the Company and will be accountable for supporting hiring efforts at all locations. They will locate and recruit candidates using various job boards, social media platforms, networking groups, etc. They will be responsible for initial screening of potential candidates and presenting them to the Hiring Manager for evaluation and interview. The Recruiter will handle administrative tasks related to recruitment (create and post job openings, help schedule interviews and coordinate testing, assist in new employee onboarding). The Onsite Corporate Recruiter will utilize advanced online search tools to identify potential candidates, advertise and gather resumes from qualified candidates, screen resumes and applications for suitability.

This role requires exceptional organization, presentation skills, and the ability to work independently. Advanced knowledge of social media recruiting with the capability to establish a presence on those platforms is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this position, you will also be responsible for strengthening our employer brand to consistently attract top talent.

Sourcing

· Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.

· Identify passive candidates using relevant tools and techniques such as search engines, career sites, LinkedIn, social media, job boards, Google, etc.

· Utilize professional associations, cold calling, internet searches, networking, recruiting events, labor market data, database searches, and other technologies to generate diverse candidate pools.

· Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to connect with potential candidates.

· Manage internal and external communication to uphold a positive employer reputation (e.g., on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and social media).

Develop and maintain relationships with universities, employment agencies, and other recruitment resources.

Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop new, more effective methods of finding qualified candidates.

Staffing:

· Evaluate resumes and screen candidates for open positions.

· Hire, retain, and develop suitable talent. Maintain ongoing communication after hiring to ensure a good fit and minimize turnover.

Improve and maintain staffing levels, reduce time to fill positions at all levels, and enhance the quality of new hires.

Collaborate with Managers to find the right candidates for open roles.

Identify and assess candidates with potential for development.

Foster a workforce that is motivated to be part of a growing organization.

Reduce reliance on contingent workforce.

Conduct job analysis and establish valid selection criteria. Screen, assess, and recommend candidates for interview.

Manage recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees.

Handle internal and external job postings and advertisements. Manage recruitment process at job fairs.

Assist staff in developing job-related interview questions as needed.

Check applicant references, make job offers, draft offer letters, and complete necessary paperwork for new hires.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Retention

Participate in the development and implementation of orientation programs for new employees.

Select the right person for each position.

Ensure that the employment selection process contributes to building a strong talent pool.

Assist and track employee onboarding process.

Create and maintain job documentation, job evaluations, and salary structure systems.

Track recruitment key performance indicators, such as time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill positions.

Conduct 30/60/90 day meetings with new employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in sourcing in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience with utilizing social media for recruiting purposes
  • Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (e.g., video or panel interviews)
  • Knowledge of full cycle recruitment
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with management
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Travel to other facilities may be required on a limited basis
