•Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
•Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License is compulsory.
•BLS certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Working Hours and Compensation:
•This is a full-time position with shifts from 3pm to 11pm, and every other weekend plus rotating holidays.
•Hourly salary ranges from $26.00/hr to $36.50/hr, based on experience.
•A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
•The primary responsibility entails conducting radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to generate diagnostic images. This role involves providing patient care and education during procedures, as well as maintaining accurate records and documentation.
•Performing routine, emergent, operative, and mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures by utilizing imaging equipment, associated accessories, and contrast agents. Adhering to radiation safety standards and department protocols is imperative.
•Preparing patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, assisting patients with appropriate attire, and fostering a comfortable, friendly, and secure atmosphere. Providing patients and their families with education pertaining to the imaging procedure is also part of the role.
•Maintaining manual and computerized records for patients, the department, and the hospital. Performing necessary data entry and clerical tasks, as well as managing and replenishing supplies for the department.
•Conducting and documenting equipment quality control in accordance with department protocols, as well as performing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance. Recognizing and promptly reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel or department.
•Being available for cross-training and working in the CT area, as well as being on-call outside of regular working hours.
