Working Hours and Potential Salary:
Daytime shift position (6:30am-5pm) with on-call responsibilities every 4th week of evenings and weekends. Position is .75 or 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) and offers perks.
Hourly pay range from $33.88(for recent graduates), 1 year or more is $35.50hr-$47.75hr based on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package including assistance with signing-on or relocating.
Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the appropriate specialty (RDCS or RVT designation required).
Proven competence in all types of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including invasive examinations such as ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Preferably, experience with stress echo and TEE; Pediatric experience is advantageous.
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound and/or vascular examinations on patients in an efficient and compassionate manner to gather data for diagnosing various medical conditions.
Assess examinations for diagnostic quality using professional judgement in the provision of services.
Additional Information:
Report to the Manager of Heart and Vascular Diagnostics, a well-respected leader at our facility. Collaborate with approximately 20 other Sonographers.
On weekends, responsible for stress echos requested by cardiologists, including urgent orders.
