Account Manager

Our expanding Medical client is seeking multiple Account Managers throughout the United States!
As an AM, you will serve as the representative of the organization with the hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your assigned area, as well as the families being released from these facilities. Your primary responsibility is to generate leads and facilitate the transition of individuals to these communities. You must possess a strong drive, an inclination to establish relationships with healthcare professionals, and a determination to discover the most effective strategies for expanding each account, thereby assisting more families in finding suitable care.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in a rapidly evolving industry to assist families in urgent need of care in locating the appropriate community or in-home care agency as they move out of hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve monthly quotas by identifying qualified patient referrals from your designated market plan accounts
  • Develop, manage, and expand your portfolio of accounts to increase the volume of referrals in your area
  • Cultivate new connections within each account through networking, cold calling, and service presentations, following up with each referral source to reinforce the value provided by the company
  • Educate families about their options and how you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor will work together to identify suitable senior living solutions upon discharge
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet the quota for families moving into a community or hiring in-home care
  • Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) in your area and provide feedback to improve available tools and resources


  • Preference for a bachelor’s degree
  • Three or more years of individual contributor experience in outside sales
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales quotas and collaborating with other teams to achieve target goals
  • Successful experience in presenting to target customers and overcoming objections
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, independent work environment with a willingness to embrace change, experiment with new processes, and deliver results
  • Strong desire to learn and improve, coupled with a competitive mindset
  • Local travel within your assigned area required (5 days a week)
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, at all levels
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Highly preferred: previous healthcare/hospital sales experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)

Additional Information


  • You will be in the field daily, collaborating with your Regional Director to develop your weekly account plan, nurturing and expanding your accounts to meet monthly targets
  • Your fieldwork will include scheduled presentations at accounts, as well as calls and impromptu visits to engage with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and patients being discharged
