Food Safety Manager
Manage food safety and quality control procedures in a busy beverage production setting. This position ensures adherence to guidelines, assists production teams, and fosters continuous enhancement.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise QA/QC protocols and ensure regulatory conformity
- Carry out inspections, audits, and product examinations
- Address quality concerns and customer feedback
- Supervise hold/rework procedures and records
- Provide training on quality assurance standards and food safety protocols
- Collaborate with production for enhanced quality and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Agriculture, or related field
- 5+ years of QA experience in the food industry (leadership experience desirable)
- HACCP/PCQI certification required; BPC certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, auditing, and quality systems
Compensation & Perks:
- Salary range of $77,000–$116,000 plus bonus
