Position Overview:
The Total Rewards Manager oversees the HR Department's efforts to align business goals with competitive company benefits, compensation, and rewards. Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with all departments to support worker’s compensation claims and related issues. This role involves enhancing the employee Benefits Administration, Government, and Compliance online platforms for Employees. The Total Rewards Manager continuously evolves compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that offer the best value for Employees in line with company policies and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, evaluate, and compare competitive benefits, compensation, and rewards programs to enhance the organization's ability to attract and retain employees and achieve desired outcomes
- Oversee enrollment, renewal, and distribution of benefits programs including medical, pharmacy, vision, dental, disability, life insurance, retirement, and other offerings
- Coordinate planning and execution of all benefit plans administration, including annual open enrollment activities
- Enhance wellness programs to maximize health plan results, productivity, and employee quality of life
- Conduct analytical studies on various compensation aspects to recommend engagement and retention strategies
- Support the compensation review cycle by processing, analyzing, and validating salary increases
- Assist in crafting and delivering Total Rewards Statements
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements such as ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, FLSA, FMLA, and GINA
- Analyze and communicate worker’s compensation claims data to facilitate successful return-to-work programs
- Collaborate with departments to assess cross-departmental impacts and ensure data integration
HRIS Scope – Benefits Administration (BEN)/Benefit to Carrier Feeds/ACA and Government and Compliance/Total Rewards Statement
- Collaborate on Benefits Administration and Government and Compliance modules to customize plan set-ups and deduction amounts
- Utilize BEN module for easy access to benefit information and enrollment for Employees
- Ensure accurate annual enrollment and reconciliation processes through the BEN module
- Manage COBRA compliance requirements and ACA data management
- Monitor FMLA, ACA, and OSHA regulations in the modules
- Assist with ESOP functionality in the module if required
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced certifications preferred
- Over 8 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations with a focus on compensation and benefits
- Expertise in analyzing and adjusting compensation and benefit programs for market competitiveness
- Proficient in managing merit increase processes, salary structures, and incentive programs
- Strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and emerging regulatory issues required
