POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is located in Nashville, TN and requires on-site presence (not open to remote work).

The Commercial PreConstruction Estimator will be responsible for obtaining quotes and prices from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. They will collaborate with the Senior Precon Manager to create budgets for upcoming and ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will also manage subcontractor agreements, scopes, and implement Value Engineering cost options for negotiated and hard-bid projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of Estimating experience in commercial remodel and new-construction projects
• Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
• Understanding of commercial construction process through Estimating and Preconstruction experience
• Familiarity with take-offs and quantitative lump sum bid/estimating process
• Proficient in Estimating software and ability to learn new software systems
