Roadway Transportation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Roadway Transportation Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects focusing on roadway design and public infrastructure in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong technical skills, client relationship abilities, and a proven track record of delivering top-notch transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies.

Primary Duties

  • Supervise internal teams and external consultants to complete transportation and roadway projects.

  • Create and finalize project scopes, schedules, and fee proposals.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for successful project outcomes.

  • Perform quality assurance reviews on project deliverables.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with municipal and public agency clients.

  • Represent the company in project interviews and client meetings.

  • Guide and mentor junior staff members.

  • Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.

  • Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.

  • 10–20 years of experience in roadway design and project management for public entities.

  • Ability to lead diverse teams, manage technical work, and meet client needs.

  • Strong background in client engagement and relationship management.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Highly organized and able to work independently.
