Lead Electrical Engineer
Our client is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team in Memphis, TN. This well-established manufacturer specializes in products for the electric power line industry.
Responsibilities
The Lead Electrical Engineer will oversee the design and development of new products for the electric utility market, as well as manage engineering activities related to existing products.
• Create new product designs, drawings, and specifications
• Evaluate and recommend specifications to ensure products meet requirements
• Analyze proposed product changes and conduct testing
• Manage prototype development and testing
• Facilitate Engineering drawing changes and recommend procedures
• Write test reports for internal and external use
• Collaborate with engineering team to meet project milestones and timelines
• Provide technical support to Field Sales personnel
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-10 years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software and good communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with electric utility product lines and manufacturing environments
• Proficient in SolidWorks or ProE and understanding of manufacturing processes
