Manufacturing Talent Acquisition Lead
We are working on behalf of a reputable global manufacturing company located in the Southwest Chicago area that is looking to expand its Talent Acquisition team. The organization is in need of a seasoned Recruitment Lead with a solid background in technical recruiting and talent acquisition within the manufacturing industry.
This role is crucial to the company's worldwide talent acquisition strategy and involves supporting recruitment efforts across various international manufacturing sites.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 plus bonuses based on performance
Work Hours
• In-office for 5 days per week initially
• Post training period: 4 days in office / 1 day remote
Key Requirement
Applicants must have recent experience working directly for a manufacturing firm in an internal recruitment capacity. Candidates with backgrounds primarily in staffing agencies or contract recruitment will not be considered.
Key Duties
• Oversee complete recruitment process for executive roles in global manufacturing operations
• Lead recruitment for technical positions in manufacturing environments
• Collaborate with management and HR to create hiring plans and strategies
• Assist in recruitment efforts across international locations like Mexico, Canada, China, and Europe
• Develop strong candidate pipelines for technical roles
• Recruit for various professional positions as required, such as operations, management, HR, finance, and corporate roles
• Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leadership teams throughout the recruitment process
• Monitor recruitment metrics and enhance recruitment strategies and processes continuously
• Represent the company's brand through sourcing, networking, and industry involvement
• Handle multiple open positions in a dynamic global recruitment environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree needed
• Extensive experience in recruitment within a manufacturing company
• Prior experience in recruiting engineers or technical professionals in a manufacturing setup
• Experience in global recruitment, including in Mexico
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment for technical and professional roles
• Preference for a stable job history with minimal changes
• Previous experience as an in-house recruiter in a manufacturing firm
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
