As the Project Lead, you will oversee engineering projects, foster client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions for power distribution systems. Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, engineering, procurement, and closeout.

• Act as the main client liaison, fostering long-term connections and expanding service offerings.

• Develop proposals, support client presentations, and engage in contract negotiations.

• Monitor project schedules, scope, and costs to ensure successful outcomes.

• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, risk management, and change control.

• Implement project procedures, ensuring compliance with quality guidelines.

• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, agencies, and internal teams.

• Collaborate with department heads to manage team resources and mentor staff.

• Provide regular updates on project status, costs, safety, and design issues.

• Travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Advanced degree may substitute for experience.

• Minimum of 7 years in distribution engineering, with 3+ years managing projects.

• Proven track record in project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex tasks.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly.

• Experience in distribution design and documentation.

• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

• Ability to nurture client relationships and drive business growth.

• Professional Engineering (PE) registration and PMP certification preferred.

• Willingness to travel and previous consulting experience is a plus.
